Sessions are run by experienced physiotherapists and exercises are of a moderate intensity including stretches, functional strengthening, balance and fitness, using an evidence-based approach. Our aims are to increase physical activity and social participation and improve mental health and wellbeing.
LEGS accepts self-referrals via email or telephone directly from potential participants, as well as referrals from health professionals and other colleagues working with stroke survivors.
All potential participants will need to attend a physiotherapy assessment and exercise safety screening at the studio before joining the group.
Please contact LEGS if you have any concerns or questions.
